FAQ

Quick Answers

Have Questions?

When should I expect my racquet back?

All racquets are guaranteed back within 24 hours of pickup.

Is it possible to get my racket expedited?

It is entirely possible. We encourage the market to regulate itself. Vendors often will have a separate pricing structure for immediate turnarounds.

What does hand to hand delivery really mean?

We believe all racquets should be handled with care. This is why it is our policy that all racquets be picked-up and delivered back to you from hand-to-hand.

We ask that you only reserve times in which you yourself or someone representing you be there for each handoff. This protocol keeps racquets completely out of the elements of weather preserving their longevity for years to come.

What is the process for pick-up and delivery?

You have two options: Either one you pick, you will get a confirmation text from your stringing vendor upon order confirmation.

You will then book your second block for getting your racquet back.

1. Delivery pick-up & delivery drop off @ Customers address

2. In-store drop off & -In-store pickup @ Stringers address

What are your operating hours?

Each stringing vendor will have different times in which they are available. Please choose a vendor that will meet both your proximity requirement as well as availability.

What if I cannot find a stringer that carries my string?

If you cannot find a stringer that carries your string. we encourage you to find some online at a great price here. Once you have your string. come back here and request a stringing job with your local stringer as a “No House Strings” stringing request.

What is the process for supplying my own string?

If you have your own reel of strings. Please provide the entire reel at time of pick-up. Do not cut the string. If you have a 40ft single pack of strings to be used for one racquet please provide that at pickup.

***make sure that you have enough packs or feet in a reel to cover the amount of racquets to be strung. For a Reel: there is 200 meters = 16 racquets @ 40ft /each.

It is wise to keep tally marks on each reel so you know exactly how much is left.

Will you do hybrid stringing if I provide all the strings?

Yes, Absolutely! This is very common. Just supply both strings at pick-up.

We will give you the other halves if they came in two separate single packs OR split the two packs for a double racquet stringing request if you have two racquets.

If you have a reel we will mark the total feet used on packaging.

Can I mix house strings with my own strings?

Yes, absolutely! You can do this in a couple of different ways:

Option 1: String 2 racquets as a hybrid setup with 2 full 40ft string packs. One from you and one from us.

Option 2: String 1 racquet and purchase 1 half set of 20ft strings. for the other 20ft. You provide a reel or a pack of strings and we give you any extra string back on delivery.

Option 3: Non-hybrid stringing but different strings in each racquet.

Option 4: Combination of hybrids & Full bed stringing requests.

Can I buy 2 full packs strings (40ft/ea) and split them into two racquets as a hybrid?

Yes. This is very common and the easiest way.

Just make sure you have 40ft of string selected for each racquet.

Can I get advice about my tension and strings for my particular racquet set-up?

Yes. This is very common and the easiest way.

Yes, Absolutely! Send inquiries to in**@**************ng.com

Will you string junior racquets?

Yes! we will restring most junior racquets. Should you? Some junior racquets are worth less than the strings you put in it.

However, some junior racquets are made with the same materials as adult racquets and are worthy of a restring –usually these are 25 and 26 inch racquets not 23 or below. We would be happy to answer any questions to help in this decision.

Will you string squash and racquetball racquets?

Yes! Most tennis racquet stringers will have plenty of experience stringing these, usually at much lower tensions. Rates may be higher as this is an open market and it is completly up to the stringing vendors to set their own prices.
