Marketplace Terms & Conditions

1. Platform Overview & Role of Love All Stringing

Love All Stringing (“LAS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates as an online marketplace connecting customers (“Customers”) with independent service providers (“Vendors” or “Stringers”).

  • Vendors are independent contractors, not employees, agents, or partners of Love All Stringing.
  • Love All Stringing does not directly perform stringing services, coaching services, or equipment rentals.
  • Vendors set their own pricing, availability, service offerings, and schedules.

Love All Stringing facilitates bookings, payments, communication, and visibility but does not guarantee the performance, timing, or outcome of services provided by Vendors.


2. Service Availability & Scheduling

All service availability displayed on the Platform reflects the individual availability published by each Vendor.

  • Vendors may operate daily, on alternating days, or during limited service windows.
  • Availability may vary based on demand, seasonality, holidays, or personal schedules.
  • Customers acknowledge that not all Vendors offer identical turnaround times or service frequency.

By completing a booking, Customers agree to the specific service window, dates, and availability shown at checkout.


3. Service Turnaround & Return Windows

24-Hour Return Window (When Available)

Many Vendors strive to offer fast turnaround, including 24-hour racquet return. However:

  • A 24-hour return is not guaranteed.
  • Service completion timelines depend on the Vendor’s published availability at the time of booking.
  • When a 24-hour return is not available, the service will be completed within the nearest available service block according to the Vendor’s schedule.

Customers acknowledge and agree that:

  • Service timelines are based on real-world Vendor availability.
  • Selecting a Vendor includes acceptance of that Vendor’s service schedule and turnaround window.

4. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

  • Provide accurate information during booking
  • Deliver equipment (e.g., racquets) in reasonable condition
  • Adhere to agreed drop-off and pickup times
  • Review Vendor availability before confirming bookings

Failure to comply with service timelines or platform rules may result in delays, additional charges, or cancellation.


5. Vendor Responsibilities

Vendors agree to:

  • Maintain accurate availability and service descriptions
  • Perform services in a professional and reasonable manner
  • Communicate delays or availability changes promptly
  • Handle customer property with reasonable care

Responsibility for Customer Equipment

  • Vendors are solely responsible for customer equipment (including racquets) while such equipment is in their possession, custody, or control.
  • If a Vendor loses, damages, destroys, or renders unusable a Customer’s equipment, the Vendor agrees to be solely responsible for repair, replacement, or reimbursement to the Customer.
  • Love All Stringing is not responsible for loss or damage caused by Vendors.

Vendors remain solely responsible for the quality, timing, and execution of their services.


6. Equipment Rental Terms & Liability

Certain Vendors may offer equipment rentals through the Platform, including but not limited to:

  • Ball machines
  • Video and recording equipment
  • Racquet stringing machines
  • Racquets
  • Training, testing, or diagnostic equipment

Renter Responsibility

By renting equipment through the Platform, the renter (“Renter”) assumes full responsibility for the equipment from the time of pickup or delivery until it is returned and confirmed acceptable by the equipment owner.

Equipment must be returned:

  • On or before the agreed return date and time
  • In one piece
  • In perfect working condition
  • With all accessories, components, and attachments included

Damage, Loss, or Late Return

  • If equipment is returned damaged, incomplete, non-functional, or not returned at all, the Renter agrees to pay the full replacement cost of the equipment.
  • If equipment is returned late, the Renter will be charged for each additional rental block or day the equipment remains unavailable.
  • Late returns that interfere with another scheduled rental may result in additional charges.

Replacement cost is determined by the equipment owner and may include taxes, shipping, and setup fees.

Liability Acceptance

The Renter assumes all risk associated with the use, transport, and storage of rented equipment and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Love All Stringing and the equipment owner from any claims, damages, injuries, or losses arising from such use.


7. Payments, Fees & Refunds

  • All payments are processed through the Platform.
  • Vendor pricing, service fees, and rental fees are displayed at checkout.
  • Refunds, if any, are subject to Vendor policies and Platform rules.
  • Love All Stringing reserves the right to deduct fees for late returns, damage, or violations of these Terms.

8. Cancellations & No-Shows

Cancellation policies may vary by Vendor and service type.

  • Failure to appear for a scheduled service or rental may result in forfeiture of payment.
  • Late cancellations may be subject to partial or full charges.

Customers are responsible for reviewing cancellation terms prior to booking.


9. SMS Communications & Notifications

Consent to Receive SMS

By providing your mobile phone number during checkout and opting in, you consent to receive transactional SMS messages from Love All Stringing related to your order, including but not limited to:

  • Vendor acceptance or decline notifications
  • Pickup or drop-off coordination
  • Service status updates
  • Return readiness notifications
  • Customer support messages related to your active order

These messages are not marketing or promotional in nature.

Opt-In & Opt-Out

  • SMS consent is collected at checkout via an explicit opt-in checkbox.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message.
  • You may reply HELP for support.

Opting out of SMS may limit your ability to receive real-time updates or coordinate service timing.

Masked Communication

To protect privacy, Love All Stringing may use masked or proxy phone numbers so that Customers and Vendors can communicate without directly seeing each other’s personal phone numbers.


10. Platform Conduct & Account Use

Users agree not to:

  • Misrepresent identity or intent
  • Abuse Vendors, Customers, or equipment
  • Attempt off-platform transactions to avoid fees
  • Interfere with the operation of the Platform

Violation of these Terms may result in suspension or permanent removal from the Platform.


11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Love All Stringing is not liable for service outcomes, delays, damages, or disputes between Customers and Vendors.
  • Love All Stringing does not guarantee service availability, turnaround time, or results.
  • Total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount paid through the Platform for the applicable transaction.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Love All Stringing, its owners, operators, and affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Platform
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Damage, loss, or misuse of equipment
  • Disputes between Customers and Vendors

13. Modifications to Terms

Love All Stringing reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.


14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the applicable jurisdiction in which Love All Stringing operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
